Radhika Khatri

Avid Learner, Strong Believer!

Dream Weaver

My journey has always been fueled by an insatiable curiosity and a love for building and creating. As a child, I was fascinated by how things worked—whether it was coding simple programs, experimenting with robotics, or immersing myself in mathematics and physics. That passion only grew stronger over the years, leading me to pursue a degree in Computer Science at BITS Pilani, where I found myself drawn to the limitless possibilities of artificial intelligence, robotics, and decentralized systems.

Academically, I’ve always been driven to push my limits. This drive extended to my research, where I delved into AI-driven medical diagnostics, working on machine learning models to predict breast cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Seeing my work published in IEEE Xplore and presented at international conferences was a proud moment—not because of the recognition, but because it reinforced my belief in using technology to solve critical problems.

Beyond research, my passion for robotics took shape when I worked with ROS, Mycobot280, Jetson Nano, and Unity to develop intelligent systems, including an autonomous waste segregation system for EcoVanguard. This project was particularly special, as it not only secured funding at COP28 but also became a tangible solution for sustainable waste management. At Veehive, I further honed my skills in backend development, building robust authentication, file management, and chat systems using Node.js, Firebase, and MongoDB.

My journey isn’t entirely about technology. I’ve always believed in balancing my technical work with creative and physical pursuits. Playing basketball at the inter-university level, winning silver medals in tournaments, and competing in athletics at Sports Fest gave me resilience, teamwork, and discipline—values that translate into every aspect of my work. My love for music and poetry has also been a grounding force, whether it’s composing on the harmonium, writing poems, or performing Bharatnatyam at cultural festivals.

Through it all, I’ve realized that my greatest strength lies in my ability to adapt, to stay curious, and to never settle for the ordinary. Every project, every late-night debugging session, and every research paper I’ve worked on has been a step toward something bigger—not just personal success, but a genuine contribution to the fields I’m passionate about. There is always more to explore, more to learn, and more ways to make an impact, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next.
